You have options when it comes to medical care on The Ridge with services being provided in town as well as in nearby Chico and Oroville.


In town Options


Adventist Health has two locations in Paradise that offer a variety of services ranging from behavioral health, dental, dermatology, primary care, rapid care, specialty care and women's health.


The Feather River Health Center is currently undergoing a 2.4M renovation and expansion with an estimated completion date of December 2023, and accepting new patients January 2024. 


The new facility will feature:

  • New Rapid Care Clinic with 8 exam rooms
  • New Primary Care Clinic with 7 exam rooms, increasing capacity for appointments
  • New Women's Imaging Center, will provide mammograms and bone density tests


Also in town you will find a variety of different services available to meet all your health needs including, dental, vision, homeopathic, prenatal and more. Care is available for individuals at every stage of life.

Nearby


Enloe Health is just a short 20 minute drive from Paradise, in Chico. Whether you need cardiac care, maternity services or something else they can get you the care necessary. They are a Level II Trauma Center and the region’s only Level II neonatal intensive care unit. Nearby in Oroville is Oroville hospital which provides general and surgical services and has 133 beds.

An excellent way to spend time outdoors on The Ridge and beyond is by hiking or cycling. There are a number of trails for all skill levels to enjoy throughout the year. Bust out your best hiking shoes or mountain bike and take a look at some of the trails below to explore. Yellowstone Kelly Heritage Trail The Yellowstone Kelly Heritage Trail spans 5.1 miles along what was once the Butte County Railroad. A perfect trail for all experience levels, you may even spot a deer or two along your way [FYI on the Ridge, you might spot a deer in your bathroom]. If you have some time, take a moment to read the plaques along the trail which tells the story of Paradise pioneers and the community local history.  Plan your trip around a visit to Paradise Community Park and the Depot Museum, adjacent to the trail or take a detour to shops and restaurants along Skyway.
