Fishing & Hunting

Fishing is available at Paradise Lake from shore or on a boat. You can expect to catch largemouth bass, spotted bass, bluegill, rainbow trout, redeye bass, pumpkinseed, lake trout, and channel catfish.

There are also a number of opportunities in the surrounding area that are designated hunting areas. At the nearby Oroville Wildlife Area, game species include deer, dove, quail, squirrel, rabbit, and pheasant.
